Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Services

for Cars, LCV's and HGV's

“It is an offence under the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations

to use a vehicle that has been modified in such a way that it no longer complies

with the air pollutant emissions standards it was designed to meet.” Removal of a

DPF will almost invariably contravene these requirements, making the vehicle illegal

for road use."

In October 2013 the roads minister, announced that garages

and testing stations will be required to check for a DPF as part of the MOT test

from February 2014. The vehicle will automatically fail the test if the filter has

been fitted as standard but is no longer present

DPF Cleaning

DPF Renewal

DPF Professional Cleaner has been shown to remove all visible dirt, soot and ash trapped in the filter cores. Even the worst examples have all been returned to normal operating levels, performing at over 95% of their ‘as new’ capacity.

The patented liquid gently breaks down and cleans the residues and afterwards, quickly rinse with clean water and refit.

The patented liquid is designed to clean a DPF unit when a vehicle’s DPF will no longer regenerate as it should or via the diagnostics.

This is usually the first stage before workshops replace or are considering replacing the entire unit for a costly new DPF.

The DPF will have to be removed for this treatment, however at this point in proceedings it will be coming off for a replacement part or cleaning as the unit would still remain blocked and unable to regenerate.

Please be aware that cleaning the DPF may not always work, but we feel its the cheapest option before fitting a new DPF.
